The Jadcup Auckland Tuatara have made an impressive start to the 2026 Sal’s NBL season with a 115-95 win over the Franklin Bulls at Eventfinda Stadium.
The Bulls pushed the Tuatara for three quarters but foul trouble and a rampant Tuatara caught up with them in the final 10 minutes.
Center Chris Johnson had a double double of 15 points and 16 rebounds while Rob Loe scored 24 points, seven boards and five assists.
Aussie import Sean Bairstow impressed in the first half but exited the game after colliding with the post. He appears to have avoided a serious injury however.
