Tuatara pull away late to beat Sharks

The Jadcup Auckland Tuatara won for the second straight week as they pulled away late to beat the Southland Sharks 91-72 at Eventfinda Stadium on Saturday.

The home side led throughout the contest but were not able to shake the Sharks until the final quarter.

American import Chris Johnson scored 17 points and pulled down 14 rebounds while Josh Dilling (22 points) and Zach Riley (22 points) paced the offense.

Dilling added 11 assists while Riley had six assists and six boards.

The Jadcup Tuatara head away on a double-header road trip to Manawatu and Wellington next weekend.
