Auckland Grammar student Ryan Hunt has inked a deal to play for the Auckland Tuatara in the upcoming Sal’s NBL.
A talented wing player, Hunt has represented the Junior Tall Blacks this season and was part of the Oceania Cup squad.
He has trained with the Tuatara squad over the summer months and earned a contract after impressing the coaching staff.
“Ryan is a great kid that is eager to learn and improve himself,” said assistant coach Sonny Tuaputa.
“He brings an elite shooting game to the table and is certainly someone that can help us this season.”
The Tuatara begin their third Sal’s NBL season with an Easter Sunday trip to Wellington to face the Saints.
