The Jadcup Tuatara moved to the top of the Sal’s NBL standings with a hard-fought 100-97 win over the Canterbury Rams at Eventfinda Stadium on Wednesday night.
The home side shot out of the blocks early through the sharp shooting of Isaac Davidson.
They held a 10-point advantage at halftime before the Rams began to apply full court pressure on the home side and worked their way into the contest.
But the home side hung on to claim their ninth win of the season and their fourth in a row.
Davidson finished with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists in another strong showing.
Zach Riley chimed in with 19 points and Josh Dilling contributed 15.
Veteran Rob Loe was instrumental throughout, finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
The Jadcup Tuatara head off for a road trip to Taranaki on Saturday.
