KC Ioane was born in Wellington, but his basketball has thrived since moving north to attend Dilworth School in Auckland.
A 6’6 guard with a long wingspan, Ioane trained with the Tuatara in 2024 and got his first opportunity as an amateur player in 2025.
He returns in 2026 with the likelihood of a larger role in coach Cam Gliddon’s rotation.
