Harbour Basketball and Rosmini College product Josh Wyllie has signed on to play for the Auckland Tuatara in the 2024 Sal’s NBL.
The talented young guard has been a standout over the summer months, training with the wider group and is rewarded with a contract.
Wyllie, one brother in a set of triplets, has been playing for the Junior Tall Blacks and stood out in a recent trial game against the Tuatara.
“We have been really impressed with Josh’s performances at training and in that game with the Junior Tall Blacks,” said assistant coach Sonny Tuaputa.
“He is primed for a big season, and we are very excited to give him an opportunity with our group.”
Wyllie is the latest youngster to be given a shot with the Tuatara this season – joining the likes of other promising age group players Jackson Kiss, Aaron Sievert, Jameer Reed, Ezrah Eagle and Hunter Te Ratana on the Tuatara roster.
