St Kentigern College youngster Hunter Te Ratana has signed on with the Auckland Tuatara this Sal’s NBL season.
Te Ratana, a 17-year-old talented wing, has looked sharp training with the squad over the summer and has impressed the coaching staff with his play.
Having worked with coach Aaron Young during their time together at St Kentigern College, he is well-known to the club and is the latest Auckland youngster to be given a shot.
“Hunter is an outstanding young talent and has a true passion for the game,” Young said. “His development and commitment to his craft has allowed him to step into this opportunity. He won’t shy away from the challenge and will add great value with his work ethic.”
He joins a powerful Tuatara roster that includes Rob Loe, Reuben Te Rangi, Cam Gliddon, Tom Vodanovich and Corey Webster as well as a stack of up-and-coming young talent.
