Foundation player Chris McIntosh will return to the Auckland Tuatara for a third season after signing a new deal for the 2024 Sal’s NBL season.
McIntosh has quickly established himself as one of the club’s key leaders and has been a handy weapon as a dangerous shooter for coach Aaron Young as the Tuatara have gone to back-to-back Sal’s NBL grand finals.
The 3×3 Tall Black joins centre Rob Loe, guard Cam Gliddon and forward Tom Vodanovich on the 2024 roster and looks set to be a key cog in the team’s roster.
With Sky Broadband Rapid League coming into the Sal’s NBL next year, McIntosh looks likely to be a key player in both versions of the game.
“I love playing for the Auckland Tuatara and was only too keen to sign on for another season,” he said.
“I am excited about the arrival of Rapid League and look forward to being part of that, but we have plenty of unfinished business from a Sal’s NBL perspective too and, like the other players, I want to go one better in 2024.”
