Free agency for the 2024 Sal’s NBL competition opens on Monday with the Auckland Tuatara set to begin discussions with prospective players about playing next year.
All 11 Sal’s NBL franchises – including newcomers the Whai from Tauranga – will be able to sign players to contracts for the 2024 season from Monday November 20.
The Tuatara have made the grand final in each of their first two seasons competing in the league and will aim to go one better in 2024.
Coach Aaron Young and the Tuatara front office will begin assembling their roster for next season.
They will have some work to do replacing talented youngsters Charlie Dalton and Tom Beattie, who have starred for the club over the past two Sal’s NBL seasons but have now headed off to the United States for college scholarships.
