The Auckland Tuatara have signed utility player Talanoa Latu for the upcoming Sal’s NBL season ensuring he gets to extend his stay with the club.
Latu trained with the club in 2023 and earned an opportunity via a trade with the Franklin Bulls in 2024 to play for the Tuatara.
He made a couple of appearances during the back end of the season and has continued to impress at training.
“Noa is a hard-working player that displays great commitment and energy,” coach Cam Gliddon said.
“He provides us with some versatility given Noa’s ability to play multiple positions and take on differing roles.
“It is great to bring back such a popular member of our group.”
Latu’s signing is expected to be the last before the season tips off on March 15.
