The Jadcup Tuatara have secured a playoff spot in the Sal’s NBL for the fourth straight time after beating the Hawke’s Bay Hawks 96-67 in Taradale on Saturday night.
It means the franchise maintains its 100 percent finals appearance record since entering the League in 2022.
Cam Gliddon’s side led throughout the contest, blowing the Hawks away in the second half to secure their 10th win of the season.
The Tuatara are likely to face a trip to Invercargill on Thursday for a play-in game against the Sharks, although a trip to New Plymouth to face the Airs on Wednesday is a slim possibility, depending on Sunday results.
Buay Tuach had one of his best games of the season as he led the Tuatara with 29 points, including a perfect five from five from beyond the arc.
Luther Muhammad had 20 points, four assists and four steals, while Dan Fotu chimed in with 14 points, six rebounds and five assists.
