Riley made a name for himself with the Auckland Huskies as an amateur player in 2021 before heading off to the United States for university.
He returned to New Zealand mid-way through the 2025 season, linking up with his hometown team.
Riley proved a popular addition with his high energy play, aggressive defense and his grit determination.
