One member of the Auckland Tuatara roster will arrive in Auckland next week celebrating an Australian Basketball League crown.
Former Sal’s NBL MVP Rob Loe and star Australian guard Will Hickey are squaring off in a winner-takes-all Grand Final series game five on Sunday.
Loe’s Melbourne United side won the first and third games of the series before Hickey’s Illawarra Hawks team answered in games two and four to send it to a deciding game.
The pair will be a welcome addition to coach Cam Gliddon’s line-up – both men are expected to play against the Nelson Giants next Sunday at Eventfinda Stadium.
