Foundation Auckland Tuatara player Rob Loe has agreed to terms on a new contract with the Sal’s NBL club and will return for a fourth season in 2025.
The most capped Tuatara player of all-time and the 2023 MVP is currently plying his trade in the Australian Basketball League with Melbourne United.
He will link up with the Tuatara once his ANBL season finishes.
“There was never any doubt about returning to the Tuatara – I am quite at home there and love playing for the franchise,” Loe said.
“It will be a new challenge in 2025 with Cam [former teammate Cam Gliddon] taking over as head coach. We are close and I know he will do a great job.
“I hope to make a run at the title with Melbourne before returning to try and win that elusive Sal’s NBL crown.”
Loe has been a standout in each of the Tuatara’s three seasons in the League, helping the side to make the Grand Final on each occasion.
