The Auckland Tuatara will face the neighbouring Franklin Bulls in a Sal’s NBL pre-season hit-out on Sunday at Franklin Pool and Leisure Centre in Pukekohe.
Coach Aaron Young and his side will get some much-needed live action ahead of the opening of the 2023 Sal’s NBL, which gets underway in just over a fortnight.
The Tuatara will have some of their wider squad playing with the likes of Nick Barrow, Chris McIntosh, Charlie Dalton, Tom Beattie, Thomas Whyte and Conor Flanagan all taking to the court.
The Tuatara will welcome back Breakers players Rob Loe and Cam Gliddon in the coming week or so while Tall Blacks star Reuben Te Rangi and a couple of other yet-to-be-named stars due to arrive at the end of the month.
The Bulls have recruited well with big man Tyrell Harrison joining the likes of Jayden Bezzant and Isaac Davidson while former Tuatara player Dan Fotu has made the move south this season.
Tip off is at 5:30 pm and entry is only a gold coin.
