Auckland Tuatara players feature prominently in the Sal’s NBL stat leaders after the opening three rounds of the 2023 competition.
Forward Reuben Te Rangi is second in points per game (25) and 3pt % (52.6) while big man Rob Loe is the league blocks leader (3.3) and is third in rebounding (11.7).
Both players have missed one of the opening four games.
Guard Jarrad Weeks is third in assists per game with 6.3.
Te Rangi, Loe, Weeks and Aussie shooter Cam Gliddon have been in fine form through the opening games but it has been the quality production from some of the team’s role players that have put the side in such good shape.
Youngsters Charlie Dalton and Tom Beattie have played well in bigger roles this season while Nick Barrow, Chris McIntosh and Reuben Fitzgerald have all produced quality minutes in their opportunities this season.
The 3-1 Tuatara travel to Pukekohe on Sunday to play the Franklin Bulls.
