The Auckland Tuatara have endured a tough second day at the Schick 3X3 Cup on Thursday as they dropped all three pool games.
After sticking with an impressive Otago Nuggets side for the first half of their early contest, the Tuatara weren’t able to go with them in the closing stages.
The Sal’s NBL runners-up shot out to a six-point lead over the Wellington Saints in the second game of the day only to run into foul trouble and end up losing the contest.
In the final game of the day, the Tuatara were outclassed by the Whai from Tauranga to fall to 2-4 on the tournament.
The Tuatara play their final game in Pool A against West Coast at 11.45am on Friday before cross-over games later in the day.
