Tuatara fall late to Airs in Auckland

The Auckland Tuatara have fallen to the Taranaki Airs 102-79 in their Sal’s NBL game at Eventfinda Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Cam Gliddon’s side were well in the contest throughout the majority of the game but foul trouble in the fourth quarter proved costly as bigs Nick Barrow and Josh Leger as well as American import Buay Tuach fouled out.

Tuach led all scorers with 27 points while Tom Vodanovich looked sharp with 22, including six from range.

The Tuatara have a short turnaround with a game against the Tauranga Whai in Mt Maunganui on Tuesday.

They will welcome back centre Rob Loe and Australian guard Will Hickey later in the week.
