The Auckland Tuatara improved to 13-3 on the season after beating the Tauranga Whai 100-77 on Sunday afternoon at Eventfinda Stadium.
Bouncing back from last week’s loss to the Canterbury Rams, Aaron Young’s side powered away in the second half to secure victory in front of yet another sold out crowd.
Corey Webster paced the Tuatara offense with 17 points and 13 assists, including five from long range and just one turnover.
He was assisted by Braydon Iuli, who turned in a superb performance off the bench for a game-high 19 points.
Rob Loe contributed 18 points and eight boards while Cam Gliddon had 12 points and eight rebounds.
The Tuatara host the Otago Nuggets on Wednesday night in their final regular season home game of the season.
