Dilworth Year 13 student and Hawke’s Bay product Ezrah Eagle has signed a contract to play for the Auckland Tuatara this Sal’s NBL season.
Eagle is the Deputy Head Boy and captain of the Dilworth Senior Basketball Team in Central Auckland, and signs for his second year of involvement with the Tuatara after serving as a training player in 2023.
Proudly hailing from Hawkes Bay, Eagle moved from Hastings Boys to Dilworth in 2021 and has gone from strength to strength, representing the Junior Tall Blacks last year at the Oceania Championships.
“Ezrah is first and foremost a great young man, who is respected by all his peers,” said coach Aaron Young.
“A leader on and off the court, his strengths are in his ability to be vocal and also read the game at a high level for his age.
“We’re excited to continue working with Ezrah and helping him develop his game as he starts his career.”
