Rosmini college graduate and promising youngster Tom Beattie will return to the Auckland Tuatara for the 2023 Sal’s NBL season.
Beattie made his Sal’s NBL debut with the Tuatara last year, playing regular minutes off the bench for coach Aaron Young.
The guard/wing has been a standout in age group and schoolboy basketball and Young is confident he will have a bigger role with the Tuatara in 2023.
“Tom is a great kid and has a lot of talent,” Young said. “He is quick to learn and has a big career ahead of him.”
Beattie enjoyed a terrific Schick Cup 3X3 competition with the Tuatara later in 2022.
He joins skipper Rob Loe and Australian Cam Gliddon on the 2023 roster with more players set to join them in the coming days.
