Rob Loe became the first-ever player to sign with the Auckland Tuatara basketball franchise when he signed late in 2021.
The Tall Blacks and Sky Sport Breakers big man will instantly become one of the premier players in the Sal’s NBL for the 2022 season.
Loe burst to prominence as a stand-out player with Westlake Boys High School on Auckland’s North Shore in the late 2000s and played for the Tall Blacks as an 18-year-old.
He attended Saint Louis College, spending three years playing for the Billikens before overseas stints in Greece and Belgium.
He signed with the New Zealand Breakers in 2016 and spent two Australian Basketball League seasons with the Kiwi outfit before a season with the Cairns Taipans.
Loe then re-signed with the Breakers in 2019 and has been with them ever since.
