The former Tall Blacks and Breakers big man is one of the competition’s premier players, taking out the MVP award in 2023.
Loe burst to prominence as a stand-out player with Westlake Boys High School on Auckland’s North Shore in the late 2000s and played for the Tall Blacks as an 18-year-old.
He attended Saint Louis College, spending three years playing for the Billikens before overseas stints in Greece and Belgium.
He signed with the New Zealand Breakers in 2016 and spent two Australian Basketball League seasons with the Kiwi outfit before a season with the Cairns Taipans.
Loe then re-signed with the Breakers in 2019.
After three successive seasons leading the Tuatara to the Sal’s NBL Grand Final, Loe signed on with Melbourne United in the Australian League. He will return for a fourth season with the Tuatara in 2025.
