Aucklander Reuben Fitzgerald signed on with the Auckland Tuatara for the 2022 Sal’s National Basketball League season.
The former Westlake Boys representative and three-year veteran of the league remains in Auckland after moving across from the now defunct Auckland Huskies to join the Tuatara.
The 22-year-old guard played in 11 games for the Huskies last season, largely off the bench, while he previously represented the Super City Rangers and Bay Hawks.
He brings significant leadership qualities, game smarts and is well respected in the community.
