Sharp shooter and Auckland local Chris McIntosh has signed on for another Sal’s NBL season with the Auckland Tuatara in 2023.
McIntosh provided real leadership for the Tuatara in their inaugural season and split time between the starting line-up and the bench in 2022.
He excels in 3X3 basketball and captained the Tuatara side at the Schick Cup late last year.
A quality three point shooter, McIntosh will suit up for his fourth season in the Sal’s NBL this season having previously played for the Franklin Bulls and now defunct Auckland Huskies.
“Chris is a player of high character that sets the standards for our group,” said coach Aaron Young.
“He is a hard working and intelligent player that I think will thrive with the group we have assembled this season.”
McIntosh joins a Tuatara roster that includes Tall Blacks Rob Loe and Reuben Te Rangi, Breakers guard Cam Gliddon, youngsters Tom Beattie and Charlie Dalton as well as hard-working big man Nick Barrow.
More signings will be announced in the coming week.
