Renowned real estate company Harcourts Cooper and Co have signed on as a partner of the Auckland Tuatara basketball franchise in the upcoming Sal’s NBL.
The North Shore and North West real estate company, which is the number one franchise in the world for Harcourts for 10 years running, supported the Auckland Huskies last year and have made the move across to join the Tuatara, after they acquired the licence.
The Harcourts Cooper and Co brand will be present on the Auckland Tuatara playing uniforms in 2022 and will be key supporters of Aaron Young’s side.
“We are big believers in giving back to the community that we live and work in,” said the face of Harcourts Cooper and Co Martin Cooper.
“We really like what the Tuatara team are doing and can’t wait for the start of the 2022 Sal’s NBL.”
The Auckland Tuatara were delighted to welcome Harcourts Cooper and Co into their family of partners.
“We support over 400 events that happen within our community each year and are proud to be supporting them.
“We can see Harcourts Cooper and Co are genuinely passionate about the local community and that sits really well with us,” Auckland Tuatara chief executive Regan Wood said. “Along with the support of Cooper & Co one of their individual agents James Kim has also become involved as a supporter, and is looking forward to the season ahead and taking the Life Changer programme out to some of the local North Shore schools.
“The Sal’s NBL is really tribal with community teams representing their areas and we are delighted to have Martin and his team, including James Kim, join with us.
“We are an Auckland side based on the North Shore and we share Harcourts Cooper and Co’s passion for our home.”
The Sal’s NBL begins next month with the Tuatara playing their first ever game against the Taranaki Mountainairs on April 30 at Eventfinda Stadium.
