Talented teenager Charlie Dalton has agreed to return to the Auckland Tuatara for a second season in the Sal’s NBL.
The Rosmini College product is a dual sport star, excelling at both basketball and beach volleyball, and impressed with limited game time during his rookie season while still at school in 2022.
Dalton helped the Tuatara reach the Sal’s NBL Grand Final in their inaugural season and returns a more confident and rounded player in 2023.
“Charlie is a terrific kid and a really talented all-round sportsman,” coach Aaron Young said.
“Despite his young age, he was a real leader within our group last year and has an infectious personality that rubs off on the rest of the team.
“He showed glimpses of what he is capable of last year but I think we will see more this season from him and I look forward to helping with his development.”
Dalton joins his Rosmini College teammate Tom Beattie, Tall Blacks Rob Loe and Reuben Te Rangi, veteran big man Nick Barrow and Breakers star Cam Gliddon on the Tuatara roster.
Memberships to all nine home games at Eventfinda Stadium are available now.
