Fotu grew up on the North Shore of Auckland and was a standout player coming through the age groups.
Part of the well-known and highly successful Fotu family, Dan made his professional debut with the Tuatara in 2022 before injury curtailed his season.
After a season with the Bulls in 2023 and the Giants in 2024, Fotu returns to his hometown team for season 2025.
The hard-working forward enjoyed a brilliant college career with St Mary’s and has already played for the Breakers and Tall Blacks.
He is currently playing in Japan.
