The Auckland Tuatara will be kitted out by Pure Athletic when they participate in the 3×3 Cup in Invercargill in October.
The Sal’s NBL franchise announced the deal with the Auckland-based sports apparel company on Tuesday, with designs to be released in the coming weeks.
The Tuatara are one of 16 men’s teams competing at the 3×3 Cup to be held at ILT Stadium from October 25-28.
“We are delighted to be working with Chris and his team at Pure Athletic for this tournament,” said Tuatara GM of Sport and Communication Dale Budge.
“Pure Athletic was a partner of the Tuatara during our baseball days and we know what a great job they do. We will look sharp when we arrive in Invercargill chasing the 3×3 Cup title.”
Pure Athletic owner Chris McKinley said he is looking forward to unveiling some fresh new designs for the Tuatara to sport.
“It is great to be able to work with the Tuatara again and I’m excited about what we’ll be able to produce for them,” McKinley added.
In an exciting move for fans, the Pure Athletic team will provide a specially made Auckland Tuatara 3×3 range that will be available for fans to purchase and support their team.
Announcements around which players will be representing the Tuatara at the tournament can be expected shortly as well.
