Auckland Tuatara players Rob Loe and Reuben Fitzgerald will lead the North Harbour A team at the Basketball New Zealand U23 Nationals at Eventfinda Stadium starting on Wednesday.
Loe is head coach of the side while Fitzgerald is the assistant of a squad that includes former Tuatara player Tautoko Wynyard as well as ex-Bulls guard Jett Thompson.
Impressive young guard Aaron Sievert, who trained with the Tuatara Sal’s NBL roster all season, looms as a key player.
Harbour A begins their campaign with a 9am clash against Hibiscus Coast.
They will play against fellow Pool B rivals Otago and Waitakere West in pool play.
The tournament concludes on Saturday.
