Auckland Tuatara big man Rob Loe has been nominated for the Sal’s NBL Defensive Player of the Year award for 2023.
Loe, the favourite to win the league MVP award, leads the league in rebounding and blocks, while features prominently in the list of the league’s leading steals merchants.
The other nominees are Franklin Bulls duo Rickey McGill and Jamaal Brantley as well as Otago Nuggets forward Todd Withers.
The winners of all season awards will be announced next week ahead of the Sal’s NBL Final 6.
